A 6 session programme for dads who want to go deeper

At Mythic Fathers, we come together over a bowl of soup, a fire, and a story. Each session we explore a traditional tale—usually told in three parts, with space between each to reflect, share, and connect. Through ancient myths and timeless stories, we open conversations about what it means to be a father today: the struggles, the joys, the questions we carry.

Held in a yurt or under the sky in a wild Herefordshire meadow, Mythic Fathers offers a rare space for dads to meet without pressure, without performance—just honest connection, quiet reflection, and the power of story.

Purpose of the Programme

Mythic Fathers is a non-judgemental space run by dads, for dads where we, can get together to explore what it means to be a father today. Sadly, we don’t have all the answers to that question - but together we will share the joys and challenges of our own unique journeys as dads, using the power of traditional stories and the old myths to guide us on our way, to get more clarity on how to be the dads we need to be for our children.

Each session will centre around a different myth or story, that will act as a jumping off point for our explorations, that will include reflective activities, time on the land, and weekly journalling.
